Niu Hao, Environmental Engineering Assessment Center of the Ministry of Ecological Environment, delivered his report ofInterpretation of carbon emission standards in petroleum refining and modern coal chemical industry.
The report is divided into four parts.
The first part discusses the background of carbon emissions. Mr. Niu provided a detailed analysis of the development background of carbon emissions from a policy perspective.
The second part addresses international pressure. Externally, the EU and the US are raising standards for carbon emissions, putting significant pressure on the petroleum and coal chemical industries.
The third part interprets the standards. Mr. Niu interpreted industry standards for carbon emissions from various dimensions such as different regions, products, corporate groups, and even different countries.
The fourth part outlines the next steps. Based on past policy standards and current draft proposals, Mr. Niu conducted a multidimensional and multi-angle analysis of carbon emission benchmarks and accounting methods for various key industries.
