Tang Junying, Project Manager of Jiangsu Fuchang Environmental Protection Technology Group Co., Ltd, delivers her report of Under the "Dual Carbon" Policy—Discussion on the Utilization Technology of PTA Oxidation Residue Resources.
Ms. Tang divides her report in four parts.
First, she introduces the dual carbon policy and the impact of the dual carbon on chemical companies: high carbon emission industries to be revalued; good for companies with technological advantages; good for companies with international layout; good for the upstream of new energy, focus on new materials for green consumption and Carbon Capture, Storage and Conversion (CCS) as a new development opportunity.
Second, the technology status quo. Under current development status, PTA new capacity will break the previous record, and it is necessary to pay attention to the PTA oxidation residues treatment. Ms. Tang introduces three PTA oxidation residues treatment technologies: alkali dissolution method, recycling of benzoic acid residue and production of plasticizer.
Third, the unit introduction. Ms. Tang introduces its company profile and has a brief introduction on its current production lines.
Fourth, the product application. Ms. Tang shows three plasticizers, dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP), octyl benzoate and tri-octyl tri-meta benzoate and explains the properties and applications.
