The report is divided into five parts.

1. Industry background and MEG demand analysis. This part mainly introduces the industrial chain structure, capacity distribution, import conditions, and consumption demand for MEG.

2. Comparison of mainstream MEG equipment and processes. This part discusses the technological development of MEG, the main production technologies, and a comparison of production processes. In terms of supply, ethylene-based MEG remains mainstream in China, accounting for 64%, predominantly from the capacities of Sinopec, PetroChina and CNOOC.

3. Technological breakthroughs in syngas-based MEG. This part mainly addresses the breakthroughs in core technologies, including the development of large-scale equipment, advancements in domestic catalysts, utilization of coke oven gas, and recovery of industrial emissions.

4. Industrial chain Layout of Zhengkai Group. This part mainly presents the situation of Zhengkai Group, its industrial chain layout, and an overview of Wankai and Zhengdakai.

5. Challenges and future outlook. Challenges: (1). the problem of short catalyst life and high engineering risks. (2). Intense international competition, with low-priced oil routes in the Middle East impacting the market, as China has more coal and less oil. Strategic responses: (1). actively engage in technological cooperation and collaborate with universities to optimize catalyst performance, enhance catalyst lifespan and activity, and reduce production costs. (2). Utilize futures instruments by participating in ethylene glycol futures trading to lock in costs, manage price risks, and ensure stable enterprise operations.
