As the Eleventh
Five-Year Plan period begins with 2006, textile industry in
China is to enter a brand-new development stage. The industry
has run healthily in the H1 this year. However, after all the
trade frictions of 2005, various anti-dumping charges against
Chinese textiles are expected this year. Meanwhile, when exports
of Chinese textiles were restricted in many importing countries,
textile industry of our neighboring countries like India and
Pakistan thrived, taking over market shares from China. Nonetheless,
the considerable price spread between Chinese and foreign cottons
kept restraining growth of cotton textile industry in China.
How will cotton textile industry of China develop
in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan? Will the export situation of
cotton textiles get improved? How to avoid the risks brought
by relevant policies in China cotton market? How to decide the
best time of buying cottons?
To address above issues, China Cotton Textile
Association is to hold 2006 China Cotton Textile Forum on Aug
23-25, 2006 under the theme of “Development Trend of China Cotton
Textile Industry”. It will be organized by Zhejiang Harvest
Information and Technology Co., Ltd., CCFgroup and Tianhong
Textile Group.
The forum mainly consists of three parts:
“Industry Report”, “Entrepreneurs’ Forum” as well as “Discussion
of Hot Issues”. Product Exhibition & Business Talk will
also be arranged in the meeting.
